It’s official, an American royal wedding is coming! And we know what you’re looking for: all the details about Taylor Swift’s engagement ring.
Swift announced on Tuesday that she’s getting married to Travis Kelce, and Blondie was kind enough to give us the money shot, too: her gorgeous diamond ring.
In one of the photos Swift posted on social media announcing the proposal, she shared a close-up of brilliant stone on a yellow gold band.

Here’s everything we know about the sparkler, to be updated as we sleuth out more info.
The ring was designed by Kindred Lubeck of Artifex Fine Jewelry
Shortly after the announcement, the NYC-based designer confirmed to Vogue that the ring was one of her creations. Kelce worked with Lubeck to custom design the ring, which includes “filigree detail work.” Chic!
Taylor Swift’s engagement ring is a “round brilliant-cut.”
This detail was also revealed to Vogue, which also notes it is bezel-set. This means the diamond is set with a simple metal surrounding it.
The ring has a yellow gold setting.
If Swift is any indication, gold jewelry’s chokehold on the culture isn’t going anywhere, despite silver’s rise over the past few seasons.
Tay’s diamond is set in a yellow gold setting that is simple yet elegant.
The diamond is a trendy“old mine” cut.
Also known as “miner’s cut,” this trendy style hearkens back to the Victorian and Edwardian eras.
“This is a style of diamond cutting popular from the 18th century,” Daniela Tarantino, VP of merchandising at James Allen and Blue Nile, tells Glamour. “The diamonds are usually hand-cut, which lends a unique shape and character to each one.”
It’s the perfect choice for brides-to-be who seek to have a ring that gives off a vintage, antique vibe.
The ring is likely about 10-15 carats.
Based on just the photo, Tarantino says that’s her best guess. She also has an estimate for how much this ring could have cost KillaTrav: a cool $750,000 to $1,000,000.
